Fights for the vote (still in 2016)
Equal pay for equal work
Marches for the cause
Ideological despite oppression
Nurturing while strong
Integrity always despite unfairness
Social rights for women
Tenacious in the struggle
Dictionary Definition:
Feminism is a range of political movements, ideologies and social movements that share a common goal: to define, establish, and achieve equal political, economic, cultural, personal, and social rights for women
Happy International Women’s Day ladies – never be afraid to call yourself a feminist (you can still wear your bra Michaela Cash: Our non- feminist Minister for Women!)
Ha ha- the English teacher wouldn’t even remember- she has destroyed a fair few girls’ aspirations over the years- still is by the way. And the Minister for Women feels threatened by the concept- unlike those amazing women who fought for the right to vote which got the Minister for Women to where she is today!
I wish a former English teacher (and the Minister for Women) could read these blogs.
