I’m excited to let you all know that my practice has been acquired by Active Rehabilitation Physiotherapy, led by John and Nicole Fitzgerald, to create a new pelvic health hub of excellence we’re calling Active Women’s Health Physiotherapy.
It’s been a great privilege to be able to provide ongoing physiotherapy care to my patients and my referrers over many years – and I’ll still continue to do so – I’m not retiring. I and my whole team will continue as part of Active Women’s Health Physiotherapy, which will operate at the same Highgate Hill location.
I see this as a real win for my patients, my referrers and my team, because it means we can offer you all further strengthened services, and a larger team of highly experienced physiotherapists. And it’s also provided me and my team with some very welcome support, as my business has continued to grow, allowing us to focus on what we love doing – treating patients, mentoring the women’s health physio community and advocating on pelvic health issues in the broader community.
Active Women’s Health Physiotherapy is owned by John and Nicole Fitzgerald. They have a successful physiotherapy ‘parent’ business, Active Rehabilitation Physiotherapy, which has been serving the Brisbane community since 1986. John Fitzgerald, is also a great advocate for high quality pelvic health physiotherapy.
All of my team will continue as part of the Active Women’s Health Physiotherapy team, so you’ll still see all the familiar faces. We’ll continue to offer you exceptional care from our enthusiastic and empathetic team of 10 highly experienced women’s health physiotherapists, as well as other specialty pelvic health service offerings including: expert men’s health physios, the Mars Clinic team for child/teen continence and physiotherapy for your musculoskeletal conditions.
There will be no change to how you book appointments, and you can rest assured, you’ll receive the same level of exceptional care.
